Flip through the pages of the Lone Star International Film Festival 2008 Program Guide, the LSIFF2008 Quick-Guide presented by Fort Worth Weekly, or visit www.LSIFF.com for film and event descriptions. Then purchase, attend and enjoy!

ABOUT FORT WORTH AND SUNDANCE SQUARE
Fort Worth—the most typically Texan of all cities—began as a tiny outpost in 1849 and today is the 17th largest city in the US and is dubbed one of “America’s Most Livable Communities.” This metropolitan area of more than 600,000 residents blends its oil and cattle heritage seamlessly with an ever-growing array of arts, culture and business.
Sundance Square (named for the Sundance Kid) in downtown Fort Worth is rich in Western history and culture. In the late 1800’s the downtown area was filled with saloons, gambling parlors and dancehalls, which attracted a mix of cattlemen, gamblers, lonesome doves and outlaws—including well known Butch Cassidy, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday.
The Fort Worth Cultural District is home to five wonderful museums in a relaxing, park-like setting and is a great place to start your tour. Throughout the city, you’ll also find museums devoted to Western heritage and Fort Worth’s colorful past. This goes to show why Fort Worth is considered "the museum capital of the Southwest."
The Northside reveals evidence of why Fort Worth is known as the city “Where the West Begins”. From a daily cattle drive to the annual Fort Worth Stock show, no other city offer so many ways to relive this glorious western heritage.
Today in Sundance Square, you’ll find something for everyone. The red brick streets are lined with beautifully restored buildings that provide an unprecedented architectural viewof the past. Whether you seek dining, shopping, museums or entertainment…day or night…it can all be found in a short walk in Sundance Square.
